Who is American Today? | Research Experience, University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning
Who is American Today? Is an ongoing research project that aims to investigate what and who students consider "American" to be, and how digital media skills play a role in their civic identity.
On this project, I learned and performed video and data analysis along with other qualitative, arts-based research skills. Additionally, I built and populated a website to host the project, created and distributed educational materials for the following project phases (for educator use in classrooms), and communicated or coordinated as necessary with other research institutions and professionals. As part of my responsibilities, I also kept records on relevant literature and research projects as well as the different data analyses conducted, created summaries, write-ups, and profiles for the project.
